The task is to design and build a structure that will enable your golf ball to travel completely unaided for as long as possible using the equipment provided. Planning, construction and practice will last for a certain amount of time before having ONE attempted official timed run.

The structure must be designed so that there is the facility for:
- The ball to start its journey from the start point that is specified.
- The ball to travel on and in your structure for as long as possible.
- The ball to end it's journey in it's designated area!

At the start of its journey the ball must be released from the start point. Travel time will be measured from here until the time that the ball has stopped moving at the correct point. If the ball stops at any other time, this will be the point that is used as the final time.

This activity can be run at almost any venue across the UK and can be adapted to suit your needs and objectives. The activity can be run alongside and as part of other tasks and games to make it even more enjoyable. The task will be under professional supervision from the highly experienced Fire Events staff so you will have nothing to worry about apart from having fun!
