From here it is a short walk to Croydon Town Hall with its magnificent clock tower and World War memorial. Also a visit to the nearby Parish church and Croydon Palace.
After this why not take a break and have a bite to eat in one of Croydon’s many Restaurants and pubs, which serve food all day. After this visitors may like to take a tram ride to Addington Palace to see this grand building, which once was residence for six archbishops of Canterbury. A short bus ride from Croydon Town center is the Old Croydon Airport Building, which at one time was the gateway between London and the World.
