Human Life Raft
Participants are given ten black bin liners, some bamboo canes and some sellotape. They are briefed on what their task is; to build a raft out of basic and limited materials that will support one of their team members weight across the paddling pool. It is not as easy as it sounds, prior planning is essential if the group is to succeed without a casualty! A fun activity like this always challenges a group to get the best out of each other while helping them to establish new friendships within the team.
The sense of success for this activity will boost the participants moral and understanding for group problem solving. Safety helmets and waterproof clothing can be supplied by Fire Events if required.
This activity can be run at almost any venue across the UK and can be adapted to suit your needs and objectives. The activity can be run alongside and as part of other tasks and games to make it even more enjoyable. The task will be under professional supervision from the highly experienced Fire Events staff so you will have nothing to worry about apart from having fun!
