Count the f's is a short written icebreaker which tends to be used in a more formal classroom setting and is designed to allow all the participants to realise that we are all different and that we have different perceptions and views of the world around us.

Give a child this task and they would come up with the final answer as simply as 2 + 2 = 4. However as grown intellectual adults we do not see things as simply as a child does and so for us to come up with the answer is somewhat problematic. These differences between the delegates (and the children) are easily linked to job roles and personality traits and so allows this task to be a great first step to understanding our teams and the interactions between team members.
