Berghaus and Brasher Case Study

The Event: Product launch and 5 year sales strategy kick off - to boost Brasher’s market positioning

Brasher wanted to change the perception of its image as a brown leather boot manufacturer and so was about to bring a new range of younger, more active, boots to the marker. The event, with the "whats your playground" strap-line, was developed so as to allow the sales team to use and get to grips with the new boots in a new adventurous setting.

The chosen activities were a mixture of motorised mayhem coupled with the traditional outdoor activities of Ropes Course, Climbing and Rafting. The twist was that the teams earned equipment which was then used on the giant Chain Reaction task at the end of the three days.

Outcomes of the event and benefits to the team: Field testing of the new products by trying out new activities, leading to familiarity with new branding, new products and new team members.

Venue of the Awayday

High Force Activity Centre - The event was run at the fantastic High Force training Centre in the heart of the North Pennines. The centre itself is an eighteenth century vicarage set at an altitude of 1300 feet in the hills north west of the famous High Force Waterfall. It really is a place to get away from the pressures of the city!
