Bushcraft and Survival Skills
Have you ever fancied being Ray Mears for a day? Well now you can with a bushcraft survival day (or night). Be prepared to be thrown in to the wild and have to work together as a team to stay alive!
Flight 764 has crash landed over the Andes and you and your team are the only survivors. You are in the depths of a mountain forest and must act sensibly and efficiently in order to survive. However, night is falling and you don't have long to complete the following tasks before the forest becomes dark.
A bushcraft expert will be on hand to help teach your team some of the following skills:
- Light and build a fire using bushcraft skills (no matches or lighters!)
- Build a Shelter
- Water Purification
- Cook food for each other
This team task will bring your group together as they help each other learning new skills whilst having fun.
This activity can be run at almost any venue across the UK and can be adapted to suit your needs and objectives. The activity can be run alongside and as part of other tasks and games to make it even more enjoyable. The task will be under professional supervision from the highly experienced Fire Events staff so you will have nothing to worry about apart from having fun!
